Julie Fournier – Only Real Estate Agent in North Dakota to Earn Certified Relocation Professional® Designation

Julie Fournier, a real estate agent at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Premier Properties, is the only real estate agent in North Dakota to earn the Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP®) designation. CRP® is a highly regarded designation recommended for all those within the U.S. relocation industry who are dedicated to the successful mobility of employee transferees, and who consistently seek to better themselves, and the service they offer, through continuing education in this specialized field. In completing the required curriculum, Fournier, of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Premier Properties, located at 1815 38th St S in Fargo, N.D., joins other top REALTORS® in the residential real estate industry from across the nation who hold this designation.

“In today’s competitive real estate business environment, professional development is critical. Real estate agents with a deeper understanding of our industry’s issues are in high demand, and often employers seeking mobility professionals look for the CRP® designation as an indicator of industry experience and knowledge. I have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service to my clients by securing a strong educational foundation,” said Fournier.

Fournier earned the CRP® designation by being a member of the worldwide ERC, a professional membership association comprised of individuals concerned with domestic and international employee mobility. She also had to attend an intensive series of classroom instruction and pass an extensive exam to earn this designation.

The CRP® program was introduced in 1990 to formally recognize Worldwide ERC® members’ knowledge of the U.S. domestic relocation industry. To earn the CRP® designation candidates need knowledge of residential real estate and appraising, corporate relocation policies and issues, relocation tax and legal issues, family relocation issues, and mobility strategies.

Obtaining the CRP® designation is a beneficial way for a REALTOR® to advance their professional image. The extra measure of knowledge and prestige achieved by completing this course work is a tool that will advance a career in real estate in attracting and building new business.

More than 3,400 Worldwide ERC® members currently hold the CRP® designation. Worldwide ERC® Certified Relocation Professionals™ retain their designations by maintaining membership in the association and earning 30 recertification credit hours within every three years thereafter.

Originally from Casselton, N.D., Fournier brings more than eight years of successful real estate experience to BHHS. Fournier currently lives in West Fargo, N.D. with her husband and son.
